Privacy notice

This notice explains how Quotidian International Limited ("Solécru", "we") handles personal data collected through solecru.com. We follow the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or a question, we collect your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us, such as your business name, phone number, country and the products you are interested in.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.

When you browse the site, our website platform records basic technical data (pages visited, country derived from your IP address, browser type) to run the site and choose your country and language. We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry or question and, for wholesale enquiries, to prepare samples and quotations.

To send the newsletter you asked for. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

To show the right products and marketplace links for your country, and to keep the site secure.

Purchases on marketplaces

solecru.com does not take orders or payments. When you follow a link to Amazon or Walmart, that marketplace's own privacy notice applies to your visit and purchase.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who run our website and email on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, and where the law requires.

Our service providers may store data outside Hong Kong. We take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to Hong Kong law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to three years after our last contact with you. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to stop sending you marketing. Write to us through the contact page; we will respond within 40 days, as the Ordinance requires.
